Blueberry
Cottage
Blueberry Cottage is one of three adjoining cottages which have been
carefully converted from a large barn dating back to 1760 to provide
high quality and individual properties with interesting Mansard style
roofs. The cottage enjoys open views across the fields from most of the
main rooms. It has been furnished and equipped to a high standard in a
traditional style and is centrally heated. On the ground floor the
cottage has a lovely light sitting room with three windows. The sitting
room has a comfortable sofa and chairs, colour television and video
recorder. There is a pleasant dining area, a cloakroom with a W.C. and a
lovely modern fitted kitchen equipped with a electric cooker and hob,
microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and refrigerator with a freezer
section. Upstairs there are two pretty bedrooms – one double room with
an en-suite shower room and W.C.; one twin room with an en-suite bath
room with W.C. Heating and electricity are provided free of charge.
Folding bed/cot, high chair available.
The gardens of Blueberry Cottage are open plan. There is a gravelled
area at the rear and at the front of cottage an attractive patio with
garden furniture so that meals can be enjoyed in the sunshine whilst
enjoying the open view across the fields. There is a lawned area where
games can be played. Areas of fencing provide privacy between the
cottages and the gardens of the three cottages overall are fenced. Cars
can be parked at the side of the cottages. There is a good bus service
with 10 minutes walk. Tea shop within 10 minutes walk at Isle of Wight
Lavender. Public house ¾ of a mile. Shop 1 mile. Arrangements can be
made for horses to be kept on the farm.
